Enterprise. The actions of ONE
individual can range from simply
mischievous to a wide array of
destructive and disruptive
activities.

zeroCapital $ecurity –

While no form of security is absolute, Harford Technology Corporation has developed a method to combat security while facing budget shortages, and perhaps personnel shortages. Our method is called zeroCapital Security.

If we were to examine a small to medium sized non-IT company, we would likely find an infrastructure ( Network & Systems ) that are getting the job done. However, that is their only focus. There has been no focus on security. If we create a scale raking the combined enterprise on a scale of 1 – 10, perhaps this mystical enterprise would rate a 3 or maybe 4. A score of 10 may be out of reach for a variety of reasons including budget & personnel. However, what if we could raise the example score to a 6 or maybe a 7 without spending any capital funds?

How can we accomplish such a feat? In most cases, with a thorough examination of the network and systems, ‘soft’ changes can be affected that will dramatically raise the resilience of this example enterprise.
